  • Identify emotional responses to a title sequence. 
  • Document predictions about what might happen in a story with cues from a short clip.

      Review Thalu Title Sequence. 

      Reflect

      A title sequence of a television series is played at the beginning of each episode in a series. In the sequence, a story is condensed into a short version to pull audiences in and make them want to watch.  

      • What did you notice about the Title Sequence of Thalu? 
      • What emotions did you feel while viewing the Title Sequence?  
      • How are the characters presented in the Title Sequence? What do we notice about the characters? 

          Activity

          Rewatch the Title Sequence for Thalu two more times, once with visuals only (mute sound on the clip above) and again with sound and no visuals (the opening titles theme song below). Then make 3-5 predictions about what will happen in Thalu based only on the Title Sequence.
