Based in Canberra, the National Centre for Australian Children’s Literature (NCACL) is a comprehensive collection of resources about Australian authors, illustrators, publishers and their creative works. Leonie Norrington’s books have been a recent focus.

To support teachers exploring Leonie Norrington’s Barrumbi Kids series – and the recent NITV series based on these books – the NCACL has collated items from its collection to produce The Barrumbi Kids Resource. This page links to the television series trailer, teacher notes, a virtual gallery and exhibition space, press releases and more.

This page is part of a wider resource titled ‘Collaborations between Leonie Norrington and Dee Huxley’.

Congratulations to the NCACL on the launch of their new resources, and thank you for your continued work in documenting Australian stories!
