NAIDOC Week is an important opportunity to celebrate and recognise the histories, cultures and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, and to reflect on the enduring contributions First Nations communities make to Australian society. Each year, NAIDOC Week is guided by a different theme, inviting Australians to explore and engage with diverse aspects of First Nations histories, cultures, voices and futures. Screen stories have a unique ability to bring these perspectives to life, fostering empathy, understanding and meaningful connections for young people.
