Thalu - Stories Behind the Costumes - Virtual Workshop

Year Level: 3-4 5-6
Learning Area: The Arts

About this resource

This virtual learning recording explores how and why costumes make meaning, share our identities and celebrate culture in screen texts. Co-developed and co-presented by the ACTF, ACMI and Neo-Learning, the session invites students to a special behind-the-scenes experience of Thalu, where professional costume designers and visual artists explore the iconic and original costumes from the First Nations series. Students can meet young hosts Penny, Logan and Wade, and watch exclusive interview content with local costume designer Kylie Clifford.
